Montessori School House was establish and commenced operations in Rancho Cucamonga in 1988 and is committed to standards of excellence in the quality of the curriculum, the nature of staff interactions with students and parents, and in the overall safety and outcome of the child.
Dr. Maria Montessori
The Italian educator and physician Maria Montessori (1870-1952) was the originator of the Montessori method of education for children.On Aug. 31, 1870, Maria Montessori was born in Chiaravalle. Her father, a tradition-bound army officer, discouraged her interest in a professional career; however, with the encouragement and support of her mother, she prepared herself for her later career.
Philosophy and Principles
Montessori School House Philosophy of education is based on child-centered approach to teaching, developed by Maria Montessori and most often used in the early childhood years, that features a wide range of graded, self-motivational techniques and materials specially designed to provide sensory-motor pathways to higher learning.
